What is Cricket ?

"Cricket is a bat-and-ball sport contested by two teams, usually of eleven players each.[1] A cricket match is played on a grass field, roughly oval in shape, in the centre of which is a flat strip of ground 22 yards (20.12 m) long, called a cricket pitch. A wicket, usually made of wood, is placed at each end of the pitch." [source: WIkipedia]

What is NWCC?

NWCC (North-West Cricket Club) is a multinational cricket club and is one of the founding members of OCL (Oregon Cricket League). NWCC participates in OCL 20:20 and regular season every summer. Many members of the NWCC are full time students and most of the others work full time. NWCC is not yet a "fully" professional club, nor is OCL. What that means is that our players are not paid match fees. The NWCC expenses are dealt with membership fees from each member. OCL runs its expenses from the OCL participation fees from the each participating team in that season.

How do I join the club ?

NWCC does not make referrals mandatory, one can initiate the club joining process by first making sure about the expected commitment from the club members and then getting in touch with any of the current club members or the officers. The club has a membership fee each cricket season. Currently, the fee is $110.00 which can be paid by writing a check in the name of current Treasurer of the club. You can also send your interest of joining the club the emails listed on the contacts page.
